Hazmat General Awareness Web Seminar (HMT C10)

This seminar provides the core general awareness and familiarization training required by the U.S. DOT for all hazmat employees under 49 CFR 172.704. It is intended to raise the hazmat employees' awareness of the DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations and the purpose and meaning of the hazard communication requirements. All hazmat employees must have this training.

Who Should Attend:

This training is designed for all employees who perform functions that directly affect the safety of hazardous materials transportation. These individuals typically work with or for a hazmat manager who has received full training and certification.

DOT also requires function-specific training, security awareness, security plan, and safety training (online, on the job, or in a classroom).
