IMDG Hazmat Vessel Shipper Certification Web Seminar

Shippers who transport hazardous materials by vessel are subject to different regulations than those who ship only by ground or air.  Failure to comply with the standards set forth by the International Maritime Organization (IMDG 1.3) can result in rejected shipments, costly port delays, and injury to passengers and personnel.

This web seminar is designed to meet the training requirement for shipping by vessel at IMDG 1.3.  Using their existing 49 CFR knowledge as a foundation, students will learn how to navigate the IMDG Code, their additional vessel shipping responsibilities, and how 49 CFR and the IMDG Code work together.  This course includes in-depth exercises to reinforce the content and illustrate the real-world applications of the regulations.  Students who complete this course will be prepared to classify, name, package, and label hazardous materials for shipment by vessel, as well as complete hazmat shipping documentation.

Registration includes Lion's expert online training curriculum, compliance references, certification, regulatory updates, plus 365 days of complete follow-up support
