Hazardous Materials/Wastes Offeror (HMT S19)

Summary:

A complete program of study for anyone who offers hazardous materials or wastes for transportation, assures compliance for each shipment, but does not classify hazardous materials or wastes.

This program covers all aspects of preparing hazmat shipments, including packaging, marking, labeling, paperwork, and placards. It covers the Uniform Hazardous Waste manifest in detail, and offers guidance on assuring that a shipment is correct before it's offered.

DOT general awareness and cargo security awareness training are also included in this program.
