Hazardous/Toxic Waste Management Online Course

RCRA hazardous waste training is required annually for all facility personnel “who work at, or oversee the operations of, a hazardous waste facility and whose actions or failure to act may result in noncompliance…” See RCRA Training FAQ. The U.S. EPA requires RCRA training to protect human health and the environment. Penalties for criminal violations are now as high as $37,500 per day, per violation. It’s also critical for those who oversee waste disposal contractors know the RCRA rules for quality control.

This interactive RCRA course is the online equivalent of Lion's nationally recognized public workshop, which is considered the standard in RCRA compliance training and certification. It is designed to help hazardous waste facility personnel meet EPA’s training and re-training mandates at 40 CFR 262.34 and 265.16. Students receive comprehensive training on the EPA hazardous waste regulations (40 CFR 260-279). Training includes in-depth exercises and tutorials to develop critical compliance skills. Upon completion, students will know how to properly identify, store, ship, and dispose of RCRA hazardous waste.

Registration includes Lion's expert online training curriculum, downloadable regulations, online tutorials, downloadable Certificate of Achievement, regulatory updates, plus 365 days of complete follow-up support
