This course teaches the how-to's of hazmat packaging. It covers the practical issues in selecting packaging and filling and sealing the package for transportation.

What You'll Learn:

This course teaches a packager what he or she needs to know to start packaging hazardous materials. It does not bog them down with regulatory details or cryptic packaging specifications, but gives simple "how-to" procedures and guidelines. Students in this course will learn:

• How to get the right packaging for each hazardous material
• How to assure that packaging is in good condition
• How to reuse packaging
• Instructions and limitations for assembling and filling a package
• Special rules for "empty" hazmat packaging
