This course is designed to give anyone involved in hazardous waste management activities a general overview of the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
What You'll Learn:
This course introduces the "Big Picture" of RCRA; where the regulations came from, and the structure of those regulations. Students will learn:
- What kinds of things are generally regulated as "hazardous waste" and will be given an understanding of the overall purpose and objectives of RCRA hazardous waste regulations;
- The concepts of systematic "cradle to grave" management and the three "persons" involved in this management;
- Basic hazardous waste management responsibilities of each regulated person
