Facilities that generate very small quantities of hazardous waste (less than or equal to 100 kilograms per month) are excluded from the more extensive and costly RCRA regulations if they properly identify their waste stream and meet other specified requirements. Failure to understand the exclusion can reduce efficiencies and waste resources. More importantly, if done incorrectly, generators face civil penalties of up to $37,500 per day, per incident under RCRA.
This operations-level online program is designed to help Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQGs) ensure compliance with RCRA mandates at 40 CFR 261.5. Upon completion, students will know how to correctly manage RCRA hazardous, universal waste, and used oil.
Registration includes Lion's expert online training curriculum, downloadable notebook, online tutorials, online help, and downloadable Certificate of Achievement
