Serious injury to human health and the environment can result from failing to properly manage hazardous waste on-site. Penalties for non-compliance are now as high as $37,500 per day, per violation. In addition, training is mandatory; the U.S. EPA requires training for all small quantity generator (SQG) personnel involved in the safe storage of hazardous waste (RCRA Training FAQ).
This online program is designed to help meet the U.S. EPA's training mandates for small quantity generators (40 CFR 262.34(d)) and universal waste handlers (40 CFR 273.36). Students who complete this course will know how to correctly store RCRA hazardous waste, universal waste, and used oil.
Registration includes Lion's expert online training curriculum, downloadable notebook, online tutorials, online help, and downloadable Certificate of Achievement.
