This is a professional-level forum for discussion of regulation, science, technology and management issues. It exists primarily to serve the needs of:
- Regulators,
- The regulated community,
- Vendors to the regulated community, and
- Others with a serious work-related interest in environmental protection, safety and health issues, and hazardous materials transportation.
All are welcome to subscribe and participate. All points of view are welcome. We ask only that those who post to the forum should respect its nature and purpose, no general "chit-chat" or extensive off-topic discussions.
Most discussion on these lists focus on Federal (United States) and state issues. International issues occasionally arise and are welcome.
Lion Technology Inc was founded in 1977 to provide management information and training to regulated industries. Our first training workshops in 1978 and 1979 centered on hazardous materials transportation and the newly-emerging hazardous waste regulations.
Since then, Lion Technology has expanded to become one of the most respected sources of management information for environmental, safety and health regulatory compliance in the United States.
