Advanced Hazardous Waste Management Public Workshop

All personnel from large quantity generator facilities who could cause non-compliance with the U.S. EPA's hazardous waste regulations must receive job-specific training at least once per year. Employees at small quantity generator facilities must also be thoroughly familiar with their waste handling and emergency response duties.

Designed for experienced hazardous waste managers, this two-day workshop goes beyond the basics of RCRA to teach the nuances of the regulations, including methods to streamline operations and improve the bottom line — all while meeting the RCRA training mandates in 40 CFR 265.16 and 262.34(d)(5)(iii).  (See RCRA Training FAQ.)

This management-level workshop will focus on critical compliance issues and help you avoid common waste management errors made by even the most experienced hazardous waste managers.  From preparing for inspections, discovering recycling benefits, learning about treatment options that are available without a permit, to demystifying land disposal restrictions, you'll learn the best practices for reducing the regulatory impact on your facility. Participate in lively discussion with experienced peers while learning the essential components of the U.S. EPA hazardous waste regulations.
