Complete Multimodal Training (49 CFR/IATA/IMDG) - $1,395.00

This program includes three individual workshops:

  • Day 1 & 2: Hazardous Materials Transportation Certification (49 CFR) $695
    This two-day workshop provides comprehensive training on the U.S. DOT hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR 171–178). Learn Lion’s systematic, yet simple approach for navigating the rules. Ample time is provided for exercises and questions to build skills and improve retention.
  • Day 3: Hazardous Materials Air Shipper Certification (IATA) $395
    This focused, one-day workshop covers the International Aviation Transport Association (IATA) rules for shipping dangerous goods (hazardous materials) by air. Building on existing 49 CFR knowledge, students learn the rules for air shipping, key variations between DOT and IATA standards, and how these rules work together.
  • Day 4: Hazardous Materials Vessel Shipper Certification (IMDG) $395
    This intense, one-day workshop covers the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) regulations for shipping dangerous goods by vessel. Building on existing 49 CFR knowledge, students learn how to prepare dangerous goods for vessel transport, key variations between DOT and IMDG standards, and how these rules work together.

Sign up for all 3 or select just the training you need.  Lion Technology offers training in the U.S. DOT regulations (49 CFR), plus specialized training in the air (IATA) and vessel (IMDG) regulations. And, if you need to ship by air or vessel, this training is essential for understanding the international rules that apply to these modes. We will also cover all the latest cargo security issues facing shippers and what you must do to keep your shipments safe. You will learn how to navigate the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code, as well as the latest port security issues that may affect your shipments.

Who Should Attend: Hazardous materials managers and supervisors responsible for overall compliance with the U.S. DOT, IATA regulations, and the IMDG code.

 

Hazardous/Toxic Waste Management - $795

This workshop provides comprehensive training and updates on the U.S. EPA hazardous waste regulations (40 CFR 260–279). Students learn how the rules work and what they must do to meet their EPA, DOT, OSHA, and State hazardous waste management responsibilities. It is designed to meet the U.S. EPA's annual training mandate.
