Course Details
This hazmat air shipper training builds on the employee's 49 CFR knowledge to cover the unique, additional requirements for shipping hazardous materials by air, in full compliance with the latest edition of the International Air Transport Association's Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR). The course will help satisfy "function-specific" training mandates for employees who perform typical pre-transportation job functions, as required by 49 CFR 172.704(a) and IATA DGR 1.5.
We recommend that employees complete Shipping Hazmat by Ground–Ops (DOT) to learn the US regulations before enrolling in IATA or IMDG training.
