EPA Updates Air Pollution Cost Control Manual

In today’s Federal Register, US EPA announced an update to three chapters of the Air Pollution Control Cost Manual.

The chapters EPA will update are:

Section 1, Chapter 2: Cost Estimation
Section 3.1, Chapter 1: Refrigerated Condensers
Section 3.2, Chapter 2: Incinerators/Oxidizers

EPA requests comments from EHS professionals and industry stakeholders, to be submitted at regulations.gov under Docket ID number EPA-HQ-OAR-2015-0341.

What Is the Air Pollution Cost Control Manual?

The Air Pollution Cost Control Manual is a guide produced by US EPA to help environmental engineers estimate the costs of controlling air pollution from a particular source. US EPA uses the manual to estimate the financial impact that new Clean Air Act and other air pollution rules may have on US facilities.
