This online course provides employee awareness training to help prevent transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace. The course guides workers through means of transmission, signs and symptoms, and health hazards of the SAR-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19).
Employers must take steps to protect workers from COVID-19 exposure under the OSH Act General Duty Clause (§5(a)(1)).

Employers can use this online course to help satisfy state-specific COVID-19 employee training requirements, e.g., the Commonwealth of Virginia’s new standard, found at 16 VAC 25-200 §80.
Virginia requires covered employers to provide training that enables employees to recognize the hazards of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus, COVID-19 signs and symptoms, and procedures to follow to minimize the risk of workplace exposure.
