Handling hazardous materials incorrectly can cause injury, illness, and even death, both among hazmat employees and the general public. The US DOT requires general awareness and security awareness training for all hazmat employees, meaning "any employee who in the course of employment directly affects hazardous materials transportation safety," at least once every three years.
This online training course is designed to help meet the DOT training requirement at 49 CFR 172, Subpart H.
Registration includes an easy-to-download compliance notebook, along with Lion's top-notch reference materials.
