What is a Job Hazard Analysis?
A JHA or JSA is a way for employers to identify the hazards posed by specific workplace jobs or tasks. The ultimate result of a Job Hazard Analysis is to (ideally) reduce the risk of injury to workers and eliminate hazards when possible. Employers may also use a JHA to investigate workplace injuries and to provide safety training for employees.
