For those new to the field, or with limited experience reading and implementing environmental regulations, Lion offers its Hazardous Waste General Awareness online course. RCRA hazardous waste management standards include terminology and concepts that can be confusing, even counter-intuitive, to those not acclimated to reading regulatory language.
This online course is an introduction into the purpose, structure, and key definitions of the RCRA hazardous waste regulations. Students are introduced to the terms and concepts hazardous waste personnel encounter in their initial required training. This course also dispels common misconceptions about hazardous waste to ensure students’ formal RCRA training is as effective as possible.
This online prep-course is available for free with enrollment in Lion's RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Workshop.
