Houston and Dallas: RCRA and TCEQ Training in 2 Weeks!

Posted on 4/25/2017 by Roger Marks

For hazardous waste generators, the next 30 days are critically important: On May 30, 2017, EPA’s RCRA “Generator Improvements Rule” takes effect. The new rule makes a number of landmark changes to the RCRA regulations that will have a major impact on the way your facility manages hazardous waste.

If you’re not yet sure how these changes will impact you and your personnel—now is the time to find out. Ready or not, the new rules are coming in 30 days and include big updates like:
  • A complete re-organization of the RCRA generator standards in 40 CFR Part 262
  • New requirements for marking and labeling hazardous waste containers and tanks
  • Expanded reporting and contingency plan requirements
  • New options to help manage “episodic” events without raising your generator status
In May, join us for RCRA and Texas State hazardous waste training in Houston and Dallas to find out what to expect and make a plan for ongoing compliance. You will leave the workshop ready to take action and answer questions from leadership and employees about the changing rules.
