1. How do I register for a workshop?

Online Course Catalog
This secure course catalog allows you to register for any number and type of courses. You can also register a number of people at once and take advantage of team discounts. Toward the end of the registration process, you can complete the entire transaction online or print out the completed registration form and pay "offline" if you choose.

2. What are my payment options?
You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, purchase order, check, or cash.

3. When will I receive my invoice?
Original invoices and credit card receipts are mailed after your credit card is charged. If you need a receipt immediately, please let us know at the time of registration.

4. What if I need to cancel?
You can designate another person to take your place at any time. Cancellations six working days or less before the workshop will be subject to a 20% fee. If no notification is received, there will be a 50% fee.

5. Can I still attend the workshop if my payment hasn't been received?
Yes, you can still attend. You can bring a check or credit card information to the workshop if you wish. Payment arrangements should be made prior to the workshop. If you have not made arrangements, please contact us as soon as possible.

6. What does my registration include?
- Comprehensive compliance materials include regulations, workbooks, exercise packets, and other navigational tools. These materials are used throughout the workshop to provide a fully interactive, hands-on learning experience. Additional books may be purchased at the online bookstore.
- Regulatory updates. You'll learn all the new rules and agency initiatives so you can prepare your facility and your employees. Regulatory book updates are provided for many workshops.
- Free support service for one year to keep you in compliance. Online membership benefits include access to Lion's KnowledgeBase, regulatory FAQ's, discussion groups, and our e-mail "Finder Service."
- One free online training course is included with most public workshops.
- Time to ask questions and discuss with the instructor and your colleagues during breaks, in the morning before the training begins, at lunch, or at the end of the day.
- Coffee and Danish each day.

8. When do the workshops start and end?
One-Day Workshops:
Registration, Coffee & Danish 7:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m., Training 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Two-Day Workshops:
Day One: Registration, Coffee & Danish 7:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m., Training 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Day Two: Coffee & Danish 7:30 a.m.–8:00 a.m., Training 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
There will be breaks with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, stretch your legs, make phone calls, and network with your colleagues.

9. Where are workshops held?
Workshops are held nationwide at select cities chosen for their ease of accessibility for the majority of our students in the area. Our meetings are held in hotels carefully screened for the amenities needed for a comfortable classroom setting.

10. Do I need to make my own hotel reservations? Are there discounts for attending?
Yes, you will need to make your own reservations. Special hotel discounts are available for reservations made four weeks prior to the workshop. Mention Lion Technology's name when making the reservation. Hotel information is available by selecting the hotel icon when viewing the "Cities and Dates" for a particular workshop in the course catalogue or on the course description pages:

11. What do I need to bring to the workshop?
We will provide you with all the necessary materials. Note: IATA students will need a copy of IATA rules for the workshop (students can bring their own or purchase a copy when registering for the IATA workshop). Students attending the one-day Texas workshop will need to bring the 40 CFR Federal rules to class.

12. What should I wear?
Dress for the workshops is casual. Temperature in the rooms can vary, so dress in layers to assure comfort.

13. Do you provide lunch?
For one-day workshops, Lion provides a full banquet lunch that provides ample time for students to network and discuss their management issues with the instructor and their fellow colleagues. For two-day workshops, the banquet lunch is served on the second day.

14. Is parking covered?
There may be parking fees charged by the hotels. Please contact the hotel for rates.

15. How are CEUs awarded?
Continuing Education Credits are based on the number of instructor hours offered in each workshop. The system records 0.1 CEU for every hour of instruction. Online training CEUs are based on the estimated amount of time to complete the course.

16. Can I purchase additional books?
Additional books can only be purchased by Lion members. Members may purchase books in the online bookstore or over the phone. Shipping information and phone number must be provided. We cannot ship to post office boxes.
