1. I log in, but when I click on the course title, nothing happens. What causes this?
You probably have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer. Disable it while running Lion's online training. Lion's training opens multiple windows to display the online training content.

2. I log in, but when I click on the course title, the screen indicates that I need to log in. Why doesn't it recognize my login?
This is usually caused when your browser is not allowing cookies. Depending on which browser version you are running, this option can usually be accessed via the top toolbar in your browser window.
For Internet Explorer Version 6.0:
Tools > Internet Options > Privacy
For Netscape Version 7.2:
Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies
If changing these settings still doesn't solve the problem, this may indicate that your company is utilizing a corporate firewall that is not allowing your login. Another possibility is that your company is connecting to the internet through a proxy server that is stripping cookies.
Both of these instances will require you to speak with someone in the IT/IS department, and you may need to get proper approval for them to change you computer. You can always call us for an extension to your training if this process takes awhile.

3. What do I do if my presentation doesn't start?
This has several possible causes.
- If you get a blue screen and you can see the Flash logo in the background of the window, then you probably need to clear your browser's cache. See "How do I clean out my browser's cache?"
- If neither of the above works, your company may be filtering multimedia files at the firewall. You can check with your IT/IS department to see if the firewall settings allow for Flash and MP3 audio files. Files ending with .swf and .mp3 must be allowed into your system to complete your training. If the filtering is based on IP address, Lion's presentations stream for the address 64.21.6.10.

5. Why is the final window not closing?
Usually, this is caused by interrupted communication between our server and your computer. The first thing to try is to close the stuck window, clearing your browser's cache and taking the lesson again. If it still doesn't close there may be some underlying problems. One possible issue here is that your company uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet. If this is the case, contact the IT/IS department and ask that requests to and from Lion's servers not be cached. If needed, our IP address in 64.21.6.10, and our canonical name is www.lion.com. If neither of these works, then contact Lion's IT Department immediately at (973) 383-0800 ext.119. Do not continue your course. You may not get credit for the remainder of your work.
