What is EM 385-1-1 Training?

EM 385-1-1 training, or “EM 385 training,” refers to mandatory health and safety training for all contractors, employees, supervisors, project managers, and others working on military contract sites and projects overseen by USACE. EM 385-1-1 is the official manual of workplace health and safety guidelines implemented and enforced by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and titled Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Requirements. 

This 40 hour EM 385-1-1 course is designed to provide comprehensive training on relevant standards for Site Safety and Health Officers (SSHOs) and others with overall responsibility for health, safety, and regulatory compliance on sites under USACE supervision.
