The CMA CGM Brazil
became the largest ship ever to dock on the East Coast
of the United States when it entered the port of New York & New Jersey last week. At 366 meters (1,200 feet), the vessel is about as long as eight Statues of Liberty and has a capacity of 15,072 TEU.

also set the record for vessel size at the ports of Virginia, Savannah, and Charleston between September 15 and September 20.
