Can I Use the ORM-D and Limited Quantity Markings Together?

Although the ORM-D designation was phased out on January 1, 2021, many shippers still wonder how to move forward. PHMSA recently responded one question: does the ORM-D marking have to be removed entirely from a package label or can it appear in addition to the required limited quantity marking?

A new hazmat special permit allows for the use of a limited quantity marking as small as 25 mm on each side when shipping hazmat limited quantities by highway, rail, or vessel in the US.
