Lion makes it easy for New Jersey’s Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) to complete continuing education required to maintain the LSRP license. Lion offers in-person and online training approved for credit by the NJ Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (NJ SRPLB). These courses provide up to date training on critical EHS regulatory compliance topics, including:
- RCRA hazardous waste management regulations
- US DOT’s 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) for shippers
- US EPA’s major air, water, and chemical programs
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Refresher
The one-day
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Refresher covers what LSRPs and hazardous waste generators must know to properly identify, store, and manage hazardous waste on site.

US EPA requires annual RCRA training for hazardous waste personnel at 40 CFR 262.17.
Recurrent DOT Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification
The one-day
Recurrent Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification Workshop provides general awareness, security awareness, and function-specific hazmat training required for hazardous materials shippers once every three years per 49 CFR 172.704.

The workshop and the online course are each approved for
7 regulatory CECs for NJ LSRPs.
