EPA Revises Air Emissions Test Methods and Specs

In a new rule finalized on October 7, US EPA updates and corrects the regulations for emissions source testing.

The Final Rule takes effect on December 7, 2020

Updates in the Final Rule include:
  • Corrections to inaccurate air emissions testing provisions,
  • Updates to outdated air emissions testing procedures, and
  • Approved alternative procedures to give testers more flexibility.
