US DOT agencies increased the maximum civil penalty amounts for violations of US hazardous materials shipping/transportation regulations, including for failure to provide hazmat training for employees.

For the second time this year, US DOT has increased the maximum and minimum civil penalties for violations of the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR).
