Next 3-Day E-Manifest Meeting Kicks Off 9/17

Update: EPA will host a three-day online public meeting with the Hazardous Waste E-Manifest Advisory Board from September 17—19 to hear from the regulated community and discuss e-Manifest user fees for 2026–27.

E-Manifests and 49 CFR: Paper Copies Still Required

One of the benefits of the e-manifest system is that we no longer need physical hard copies of manifests to accompany hazardous waste shipments. But just because EPA is fine with no paper copy, the same is not true for the Department of Transportation (DOT).
