NY to Add Right to a Clean Environment to State Constitution

NY voters approved a measure on November 2 to revise the New York Constitution’s Bill of Rights to add the right to clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment. The measure was included in the State’s local election as one of five referendum questions on the ballot.

New Jersey DEP Announces Plans to Reclassify Rivers in Sussex County

NJ Department of Environmental Protection plans to upgrade 734 waterway miles throughout the state, including parts of Wallkill, Paulinskill, and Pequest Rivers in Sussex and Warren Counties.
