The RCRA hazardous waste regulations require annual refresher training for hazardous waste personnel (40 CFR 262.17).
US DOT requires training within 90 days, and re-training every three years, for all "hazmat employees." (49 CFR 172.704).
For hazmat/DG air shippers, the IATA DGR requires re-training every 24 months (IATA DGR 1.5).
