The RCRA hazardous waste regulations require annual refresher training for hazardous waste personnel (40 CFR 262.17).
US DOT requires training within 90 days, and re-training every three years, for all "hazmat employees" (49 CFR 172.704).

Lion provided an excellent introduction to environmental regulations, making the transition to a new career as an EHS specialist less daunting of a task. Drinking from a fire hose when the flow of water is lessened, is much more enjoyable!
