If you’ve ever tried to ship hazmat overnight, you probably know that Fedex does not accept any shipments of dangerous goods unless you first let them give you a once-over and approve your shipping procedures.
You may not know that “effective August 1, 2011, FedEx Ground will require all hazardous materials paperwork to be completed and submitted electronically.”
This electronic submission can be through either:
One of FedEx’s electronic shipping solutions,
A compatible electronic system from a third-party vendor, or
A customized program that can transmit hazmat shipping information to FedEx.
