This course provides required OSHA Hazard Communication and/or DOT hazmat safety training for employees who work with or may be exposed to hazardous chemicals. Employees who complete this course can recognize and use hazard labels and Safety Data Sheets to protect themselves and their co-workers from chemical hazards on the job.

This HazCom online course is designed to meet the general information and training components as specified in OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard at 29 CFR 1910.1200(h). The HazCom training content in this course reflects the GHS chemical labeling system and the new 16-section Safety Data Sheets adopted by OSHA in 2012.

Failure to provide HazCom training and failure to maintain a written HazCom plan consistently rank among the most frequently cited violations by OSHA inspectors.
