Join us for all four days of hazmat training in Nashville to develop a step-by-step approach to safely prepare bulk and non-bulk shipments for safe transportation by ground, air, and vessel. These expert-led Nashville hazmat courses are updated to cover the latest 49 CFR, IATA DGR, and IMDG Code requirements that shippers must know.

When in person DOT, IATA, and IMDG hazmat training returns to Nashville, Lion will adhere to all Federal, State, and local protocols to protect student health and safety.

Who Needs DOT Hazmat Training?

Under US DOT’s Hazardous Materials Regulations, all “hazmat employees” must complete training within 90 days of hire or assignment and must complete re-training once every 3 years (49 CFR 172.704).

If you ship hazardous materials by air or vessel, you and your shipping team must also complete function-specific training on the unique international requirements for those modes of transport (i.e., the IATA DGR and IMDG Code).

While you’re in Nashville for hazmat training, take advantage of Music City’s 180 live music venues with no cover charge. Enjoy some of Nashville’s famous hot chicken or their iconic Goo Goo candy (believed to be named for the Grand Ole Opry).

“The most thorough and comprehensive of all hazmat training I’ve taken.”
