EPA Extends Comment Period for Solid Waste Rule

August 26, 2011: At 76 FR 53376, in response to several requests from the regulated community, including the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, Precious Metals Producers, and Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc., the EPA extended the comment period for the proposed rule on the definition of solid waste published in the Federal Register on July 22, 2011 (76 FR 44094).  The comment period has been extended from September 20, 2011 to October 20, 2011.
