EPA extended the deadline to submit comments on a Draft Sewage Sludge Risk Assessment for PFOA and PFOS after stakeholders requested more time. The new comment deadline is August 14, 2025.

Effective immediately, the US Postal Service revised the standards for mailing hazmat/DG to require "rigid outer packaging" of a minimum strength for most materials, and updated the mailing standards for lithium batteries.
