Livestream: RCRA Biennial Report Due March 1

Posted on 1/30/2026 by Lion Technology Inc.

The RCRA Biennial Report is due from large quantity generators (LQGs) of hazardous waste and other covered facilities by March 1, 2026. Submitting a complete, up to date Biennial Report is a non-negotiable, every-other-year requirement and failure to report leads to scrutiny from US EPA and State regulators, civil penalties for non-compliance, and potential liability for failure to properly manage hazardous waste.

Join Lion instructor and RCRA expert Joel Gregier, CDGP, live on February 5 for our next 30-minute livestream: “Get Your RCRA Biennial Report Right in 2026.” You will leave with key insights and resources to clarify your responsibilities and maintain compliance.

The livestream will cover:

  • What is the RCRA Biennial Report?
  • Who submits the Biennial Report?
  • Why does RCRA require biennial reporting?
  • What are the reporting rules for generators?
  • What scope or time period does reporting cover?
  • What activities or wastes must be reported?
  • What forms are required?
  • What information are generators required to report?
  • How do I submit the Biennial Report for my site?

Don’t miss the livestream; RSVP on LinkedIn.

What is the RCRA Biennial Report?

Put simply, the Biennial Report is a report of hazardous waste activity during a hazardous waste facility’s reporting year. Under the RCRA, hazardous waste must be managed properly from “cradle-to-grave.” These reports help the US EPA ensure hazardous waste generated in the US is accounted for and properly disposed of.

US EPA requires reports of hazardous waste activity during odd-numbered years to be submitted by March 1 of the following (even-numbered) year.

Depending on the state you work in, the Biennial Report is three or four forms: the Site ID Form, the Generation and Management Form, the Waste Received from Off-site Form, and the Off-site Identification Form.
