EPA Completes Greenhouse Gas Phase-in

Posted on 7/12/2012 by James Griffin

Today, the Environmental Protection Agency completed Step 3 of its phase-in approach to permitting greenhouse gas emissions. The Agency is NOT lowering the ‘tailored’ threshold for determining the applicability of the Title V permit program. And will continue to regulate only the most significant sources of greenhouse gas emissions. The EPA is revising the federal program for establishing Plantwide Applicability Limitations (PALs).

For more information, see the final rule in today’s Federal Register (77 FR 41051).
