This new online course is designed specifically for operations personnel who have responsibilities for handling or managing hazardous waste on-site, and who also prepare shipments for ground transport.The online course covers critical RCRA compliance topics for personnel, and includes hazmat general awareness, hazmat security awareness, and function-specific training on preparing hazardous waste shipments for transport in compliance with the 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR).
This course is designed to satisfy both US EPA’s initial or annual RCRA training standard (now found at 40 CFR 262.17(a)) and US DOT’s initial or 3-year hazmat training standard at 49 CFR 172.704.
