Next e-Manifest Meetings Set for Fall 2021

Posted on 10/4/2021 by Roseanne Bottone

US EPA will host virtual public meetings pertaining to the electronic Hazardous Waste Manifest (e-Manifest) system on October 27 and November 3 from 1 pm – 5 pm EST,. The purpose of the meetings is to engage stakeholders and generate ideas about how to increase industry adoption of electronic manifests.

In particular, the Agency wants to discuss three topics:
  1. Current electronic manifest functionality and workflow.
  2. A potential option to allow receiving facilities to upload electronic signatures to EPA.
  3. Other options that may require policy or regulatory change.

The e-Manifest Advisory Board will use the feedback to consider changes and enhancements to the program.

The October meeting is already at capacity, but (at press time) space is available in the November 3 session. If you'd like to attend, you can register on EPA's website

EPA will accept public comments until December 30, 2021.
Submit comments. (Use docket ID number EPA-HQ-OLEM-2021-0608.)
