EPA Initiates TSCA Chemical Prioritization
US EPA has kicked off its prioritization process for performing risk evaluations of forty chemical substances, as required under the amended Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). In the Federal Register on March 21, EPA posed a Notice to inform stakeholders of the chemicals up for possible review.3/22/2019

Update: EPA to Ban Methylene Chloride in Consumer Paint Removers
Update March 18, 2019: Last week, EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler signed a Final Rule to prohibit the manufacture (including import), processing, and distribution of methylene chloride in all paint removers for consumer use.3/12/2019
