This week in Arlington, VA, US EPA’s Hazardous Waste Electronic Manifest System Advisory Board will meet to discuss and plan for the implementation of the e-Manifest system. Generator Improvements: EPA Moves RCRA Hazardous Waste Training Standard
Under its Generator Improvements Rule, which is now final and takes effect in May 2017, US EPA is re-organizing certain parts of the requirements for hazardous waste generators in 40 CFR. Among the many, many changes to the hazardous waste generator rules is the relocation of the RCRA training standards.12/1/2016
Hazardous Waste Export/Import Requirements Amended
The long-awaited Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule wasn’t the only Final Rule EPA posted to the Federal Register last week. In addition to that major re-work of the RCRA hazardous waste rules, EPA posted a Final Rule to amend the export/import requirements for transboundary shipments of hazardous waste.
