US EPA has announced the availability of documents that lay out the scope of the risk evaluations EPA will perform on the first 10 chemicals identified for evaluation under TSCA, as revised by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (“The Lautenberg Law”).6/23/2017
EPA Finalizes New Active-Inactive TSCA Reporting Requirement
Under the new Final Rule, EPA will require chemical manufacturers and importers to submit a “retrospective electronic notification” for all chemicals manufactured or imported over a ten-year period—from June 21, 2006 to June 21, 2016.
