OSHA Heat Stress Rule Proposed, Comments by 12/30
OSHA proposed a rule to address heat stress hazards in indoor and outdoor workplaces last week. Public comments are due by December 30, 2024. The rule refers to heat as "the leading cause of death among all weather-related phenomenon" in the US.1/27/2022
OSHA Withdraws COVID-19 Vax-or-Test ETS
Update: On January 26, 2022, OSHA withdrew its emergency temporary standard (ETS) that would have required employers with 100 or more employees to implement vaccination-or-testing requirements for employees.
