Update: Revised Cal DTSC Hazardous Waste Rule Open to 15 Day Comment Period
Update 04/15/2024: California's Department of Toxic Substances Control submitted the generator improvements rule final rulemaking package for review on March 22, 2024. If approved, the GIR will become effective in California starting July 1, 2024.

Texas Plans January 2022 Effective Date for RCRA Generator Improvements
TCEQ has released projected milestone dates for a rulemaking that will adopt three updates made to the RCRA hazardous waste regulations by US EPA between 2015 and 2018—including the landmark Generator Improvements Rule.
