Course Details
OSHA requires construction industry employers to provide training for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. Training must enable employees to recognize fall hazards and train workers on procedures to follow to minimize these hazards.

  • Describe fall protection methods for four categories of construction 
  • Recognize fall hazards and use safe work practices to mitigate the risk of injury/death

  • Outlining causes and risk factors for falls at work
  • Recognizing and preventing fall hazards from unprotected sides and edges, floor openings and holes, exposed rebar, and unsafe scaffolding 
  • Identifying hazards on stairways, elevated surfaces, and temporary platforms
