This three-day hazardous waste training prepares professionals in Texas to identify, store, and dispose of regulated hazardous and industrial wastes in compliance with RCRA and 30 TAC regulations. 

On Day 3, we cover the unique requirements for hazardous and industrial waste enforced by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). 

These courses are designed to help satisfy RCRA training mandates found at 40 CFR 262.17 and Texas hazardous and industrial waste training mandates at 30 TAC 335.69(a)(4)(A)).

  • How to identify and manage Texas-specific universal wastes

  • Texas pollution prevention planning requirements
  • Texas recordkeeping and reporting requirements (e.g., STEERS)

Who Should Attend?

Individuals responsible for ensuring site or corporate compliance with both Federal hazardous waste regulation at 40 CFR and Texas’ state-specific regulations, or who direct personnel training as required at 30 TAC 335.69(a)(4)(A).

The two-day RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Workshop is designed to help you meet the training standard for hazardous waste facility personnel at 40 CFR 262.34(a) and 265.16. 

Day three is the Texas Industrial and Hazardous Waste Management Workshop, which covers the additional rules for managing hazardous and industrial waste in the Lone Star State.

RCRA Hazardous Waste Management

This course prepares industry professionals to identify, store, and dispose of regulated hazardous wastes in compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations. Professionals develop a streamlined approach to manage hazardous waste from cradle-to-grave and how to comply with Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs).
