TSCA Inventory Update Reporting Modifications; Chemical Data Reporting

Posted on 8/17/2011 by Scott C. Dunsmore

On August 2, 2011 Lion Members received our Special Bulletin issue of NewsInfo Links in which we provided notice of the pre-publication version of EPA’s final rule regarding the Toxic Substances Control Act rule for Chemical Data Reporting (40 CFR 711)

Well, the final rule was published in the Federal Register on August 16, 2011 and the rule will become effective on September 15, 2011. The first reporting period, for manufacturers and importers subject to the standard, will run from February 1 to June 30, 2012. If you are interested in more analysis of this new reporting rule, Lion Technology will have expanded discussion of the CDR rule in the TSCA Recordkeeping and Reporting web seminar on October 13, 2011 (11:00 am to 1:00 pm)

Lion - Quotes

The instructor does a great job at presenting material in an approachable way. I have been able to save my company about $30,000 in the last year with what I have learned from Lion!

Curtis Ahonen

EHS&S Manager

The instructor took a rather drab set of topics and brought them to life with realistic real-life examples.

Tom Berndt

My experience with Lion classes has always been good. Lion Technology always covers the EPA requirements I must follow.

One of the best trainings I have ever received!

Brandon Morfin

This course went above my expectations from the moment I walked in the door. The instructor led us through two days packed with useful compliance information.

Rachel Stewart

Environmental Manager

Best instructor ever! I was going to take my DOT training w/a different provider, but based on this presentation, I will also be doing my DOT training w/Lion!

Donna Moot

Hazardous Waste Professional

Lion courses are the standard to which all other workshops should strive for!

Brody Saleen

Given the choice, I would do all coursework this way. In-person courses go very fast without the opportunity to pause or repeat anything.

Ellen Pelton

Chemical Laboratory Manager

The instructor kept the class engaged and made learning fun. There was a lot of information to cover but time flew by. I will definitely use Lion in the future!

Chelsea Minguela

Hazmat Shipping Professional

Our instructor was very dynamic and kept everyone's interest. Hazmat shipping can be a dry, complicated topic but I was engaged the entire time.
