The “new” RCRA regulations will have a major impact on the way your site manages and disposes of hazardous waste. The complete list of changes in this RCRA Final Rule is massive; the Final Rule stretches over 300 pages. The RCRA Generator Improvements Rule is one of the most significant hazardous waste rulemakings promulgated since EPA added satellite accumulation options in 1984 and rules for small quantity generators in 1986. The Final Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, posted to the Federal Register on November 28, 2016, can be seen here.
