Oregon OSHA Proposes Heat Illness Prevention Rule
To better protect workers in the state from climate-related hazards, Oregon OSHA proposed requirements for employers concerning heat illness prevention. The announcement comes shortly after US OSHA announced its own plans to create a Federal standard for occupational heat exposure safety.

COVID-19 Training Requirements by State
In the absence of a single Federal standard for COVID-19 training, state safety agencies, legislatures, and governors’ offices have released regulations, policies, and guidance that require employers to provide employee training on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and how to prevent workplace exposure.

OSHA Withdraws COVID-19 Vax-or-Test ETS
Update: On January 26, 2022, OSHA withdrew its emergency temporary standard (ETS) that would have required employers with 100 or more employees to implement vaccination-or-testing requirements for employees.
