The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) today announced the addition of five new “substances of very high concern” to Europe’s Registration, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (REACH) Candidate List. TSCA Form U Reporting in 2016. What's New?
Under the Toxic Substances Control Act, the US Environmental Protection Agency requires manufacturers to comply with the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule at 40 CFR 711. The TSCA definition of "manufacture" includes the act of importing a chemical into the United States. New Development in EPA’s Clean Air Act Rules for Power Plants
In June of this year, the US Supreme Court ruled against US EPA’s new Clean Air Act rules for power plants, citing EPA’s failure to consider costs to industry as part of the rulemaking process when it set new Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) in a 2012 Final Rule.
